| Introduction | Raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, I grew up appreciating the great outdoors. Majored in Christian Recreation at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, receiving a Master of Religious Education with an emphasis in youth ministry. Summer of '88 I worked as the backpacking instruction for Centri-Fuge Youth Camp at Ridgecrest, North Carolina where I met my future husband, also studying at SWBTS. We were married in 1989. Randy and I moved to Las Vegas after he completed his MDiv Degree from SWBTS. Randy served as youth pastor at Shadow Hills Church for 10 years. We have two boys, Joshua [14 yrs] and Nicholas [11 yrs]. Through a series of life events and circumstances, God lead us back to Texas for 4 years and then on to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where I serve as Children's Pastor at Flamingo Road Church in Cooper City. I have a passion for children's ministry and for helping our kids and volunteers realize their God-Potential. |
