Occupation Freelance Writer
Location Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom
Introduction Until 2006 I worked in manufacturing industry as sales director for a filter company. I travelled the world, but was getting fed up with that so when the opportunity arose set out on a new career path as a freelance journalist - taking an MA in Magazine Journalism to get me started. I have been married since 1984, have one son, and live in the wonderfully leafy Fulwood in Preston, where we have a huge garden, much of it producing fruit and veg. We're also lucky enough to spend much of our time in Trearddur Bay. Liked the old life, love the new one. I write regularly for Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life, have contributed to about 30 more outlets including Lovefood.com, ForBetterForWorse, and Selectism, and am always keen to add more to the list.
