Introduction | 42 - mom to two great kids, am a proud USAF veteran, and am an 8th grade language arts teacher with a passion for fiction reading/writing. I am a lover of animals and cannot abide the cruelty with which some are treated. My son calls me optimistic (of course, he also calls me weird). I am the crazy teacher who ate a dog food and peanut butter sandwich in class, and then drank a raw egg to wash it down. |
Interests | Reading, writing, playing pool, drawing, laughing with family and friends, and driving (love spontaneous road trips) |
Favorite Movies | I love action & thrillers. Favorites include: LOTR, Twilight, Aliens, POTC, Bourne, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Good Will Hunting, Matrix, Star Wars, Ghost Ship, Goodbye Mr. Chips, Beauty and the Beast, Singin' in the Rain, Bells of St. Mary's, The Shining, Chicago, Saw, It's a Wonderful Life, I Robot...so many movies, so little time! |
Favorite Music | I love music - but what I listen to depends on my mood and what I'm doing at the time. |
Favorite Books | The kinds with spines, covers, and pages inbetween. |
When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
Oddly, I was attracted to the hammer...
