| Introduction | I am a long suffering DC area sports fan. I was raised on the Orioles (hate the Nationals) and the Redskins (hate the Ravens). I attended the University of Maryland and I am an ardent Terps supporter. I have an unabashed hatred of anything from the cities of Dallas, Philadelphia, New York, or Boston and the entire state of North Carolina. My current sports psychoses centers on the Washington Capitals, as they are the only thing that doesn’t resemble a rotting pile of garbage in this town. |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
Only if I opened them to discover my limbs had been eaten by a shark. But then I'd probably be more worried about dying from massive blood loss than drowning.
