| Introduction | At 74, I'm enjoying my retirement from a twenty year career as a desktop publisher, which followed a career as an actress in both mainstream film and theater and underground (yes many were pornographic)films. Before that, I was a dancer. Even made it to a lead role in a Broadway show, The Pajama Game, in 1955. In 1957, when the show closed in New York, I toured South Africa with it. Heady stuff. |
| Interests | writing, gardening, supporting the artistic endeavors of all my pals, crossword and sudoku puzzles, reading trashy historical novels and contemporary commentary. |
| Favorite movies | Fantasia. It Happened One Night, Casa Blanca, Everything by Woody Allen, Mama Mia, Chicago, Moulin Rouge |
| Favorite music | Most Ballets - especially those by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Bizet, Satie, Rachmaninoff... well you get the picture |
| Favorite books | Latest fave: Sarah Vowell - Assassination Vacation. Everything by Kurt Vonnegut, what I've read of John Irving, Joyce Carol Oates, and too many others to list. |
When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
Hardly. It takes a lot of effort to reach the clock.
