| Introduction | I am a resident of Colonia Nova in the Confederation of Democratic Sims (CDS) on Second Life. I was drawn to CDS because of its democratic, cooperative nature. I am interested in the philosophy of Ivan Illich and in the development of Convivial Tools. I am also interested in the history and sociology of Second Life. My take on SL is that it is a mirror of reality. I therefore expect to find as many hassles here as I find in real life. The mirror of a real jungle is a virtual jungle. |
