Introduction	According to the online quiz, I am a Hard-Pressed Skeptic. Personally, I feel like I fall in the midst of any political stand point. I am taking this class as a core curriculum need. However, I do hope this class helps bridge this gap I have in American government. Do I believe in the American Dream? I do, some don’t. However, different classes and groups hold divergent views on the question of whether hard work can get you ahead or whether success lies beyond the control of the person. I do believe that the American Dream is in poor shape. And, without the Dream, something of America itself is lost.
