Introduction	At our first ultrasound, we discovered a little bump in the road. We then went on to see a doctor in Slidell who confirmed that little Miss.Peyton Anne had a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It was that very same day that we were on the phone with doctors at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital planning our first visit up there to see a special team of doctors who dealt with nothing but CDH. It was after our first visit in April that we knew that this would be the exact place that Peyton needed to be...she NEEDED to be born here to receive the best possible care she could...she was already high maintenance before she even made her entrance into the world...I told Allen I'm pretty sure this was her little way of telling us that she wanted a destination birth. Our next visit came in July to do a 34 week follow up appointment. After this appointment I was watched very closely by my doctors at home continuing with non-stress tests and ultrasounds every week. Peyton loved to show off her gymnastics skills during the non-stress tests with moving all around and such. Everyone's love and support has been so wonderful and has kept us strong! Love Yall!
