Introduction	My name is Melanie Guardino, and I am the founder and creator of Mellina Company Inc. I was born and raised in New York, but currently go back and forth between The Big Apple and Florence, Italy. I am a recent graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology and majored in Fashion Merchandising Management. The true beginning of my life in Florence, Italy started when I studied abroad there at Polimoda in 2008. From the moment I was there I was inspired. I always dreamed about starting my own company and to live in Florence, Italy. Mellina & Co was created to give Mellina’s target customer a “unique” product that fits her ever changing yet spectacular life Mellina & Co's customer is tech savvy, trendy, and always on the go. Mellina has designers in Florence, Italy as well as in the US who create ONE of a kind pieces. Mellina also has vendors throughout Europe who provide merchandise for our trendiest Moda-ista's.
