Introduction	I love all things about nature. Although my early upbringing and formal education took me in this direction, it did not play a part in my career and has been ignored for many years. But now, in this place (Blue Ridge Mountains of central Virginia), I can get back to nature and all the wonder and beauty it has to offer. I do not consider myself a "photographer", but I take lots and lots of pictures whenever a subject stands still enough for me to do so (which means you'll see more pictures of plants than animals posted here...although the wind often makes even that difficult). I've also found that it helps if you let your weeds grow...you never know what beauty might be lurking there!
