| Introduction | Formerly coordinator of the MBA program at Monash University in Australia, and subsequently Professor of Administrative Studies at the University of Manchester, Peter Bowden had undertaken advisory assignment in just on 40 countries, mainly for the World Bank, the bilateral aid agencies and occasionally directly for the countries themselves. This work has given him a deep understanding of the social and administrative issues facing the countries of the world. He is currently Research Associate in Philosophy at the University of Sydney. He is working on his eighth book. |
