| Introduction | I grew up in South Africa and got married to Caren in 1979. In 1984 I finished my graduate studies in Clinical Psychology and Theology at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Caren and I worked for a number of years in private practices as a clinical psychologist/management consultant and physical therapist. After 39 years in Southern Africa we moved to Florida in the USA in 1994. In 1996 we became missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ and served with them until November 2009. During this time we lead a community ministry team in Riga, Latvia worked at the headquarters in Orlando Florida and served since 2004 in Europe as the Member Care Director for North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. We recently joined the Godspeed Missionary Care team where I work as a consultant. Ruco, (26) our oldest son married to Kristi are serving with Samaritan's Purse in Uganda Africa. Hugo (18) is a senior at Black Forest Academy in Germany. |
