| Introduction | I am a college student attending California State University, Sacramento. Prior to attending college I served eight years in the U.S. Navy. The discipline the Navy instilled in me gave me the courage necessary to pursue my dreams in the Criminal Justice field. My goal after graduation is to join the elite team of the U.S. Marshal’s. I have always found the justice system to be a fascinating field of study. The scale of justice is anything but balanced; it is a pendulum regarding deterrence. |
