Introduction	Single, newly 40, and no prospects of marriage in sight, but a huge longing for a child since early 20s. Welcome to the modern woman. Time to be proactive and create the life that I want, complete with kids, and worry about the partner bit later. Of course that makes conceiving all the more tricky -- as if my age, history of severe endometriosis and status of "poor responder" with "diminished ovarian reserve" wasn't enough of a challenge!
