| Introduction | My name is Fiona, also known as Fi, I am now 43, and I was diagnosed with triple negative Breast Cancer on Friday 13th July 2007, aged 39 years. I have kept a written diary, but decided, after much thought to write a blog. I thought I would be more likely to write online than in a book which is kept locked up. I am going to write about my cancer journey in chronological order, from Friday 13th July 2007 when diagnosed, and continue for as long as I can. Some people may think - why write about such personal things? I am past the stage of caring what other people think. This is my life, and my journey, and if I can help anyone by writing this, then it will have been worth it - whether it will have been to give inspiration, or by sharing how I have coped, and not coped with this. |
