| Introduction | This blog is dedicated to those who care for others. In 2006, at the age of 34, I became my husband's caregiver after he was diagnosed with congestive cardiomyopathy, or unexplained heart failure. After nearly 10 years of heart surgeries, three ICDs (pacemaker/diphibulator)implants, and being evaluated for the heart transplant list, Brian has not only survived but the Lord has healed him! During these years as a full time Caregiver, I have learned what it means to put someone else and their needs first. I see the need for encouragement and spiritual renewal in the lives of Caregivers. This blog is for those who have cared, currently care, or will care for someone in the future. I want caregivers to be free to share their hearts and concerns through this blog. My strength has come from the Lord Jesus Christ and I want all Caregivers to receive the same blessings I continue to receive such as peace, comfort, and love. |
