| Introduction | I am doing this blog thing for close friends of mine who wanted to know what I'm up to. I started to like mecha (and anime in general) when I was still a wee lad, staying up late with my older brother to watch Robotech on PBS. It was then after that I got into Gundam and modeling through the series Gundam Wing when it aired in the US. I started downloading the older series and really got into it. My first models were all 1/100 HGs and they were REALLY bad. After a long sabbatical, I started again except this time I paid a lot of attention to detail. I don't like painting and prefer the style where you sand the shiny gloss off and try to make it as good as possible without any paint. I don't have much time to quckly create them but part of the fun is taking your time anyways! I also don't get many models since I don't have a steady flow of cash so sorry if you're disappointed. This blogspot is mainly for my close friends but I am inspired by Hugo from mygunplamodels.blogspot.com who is really talented and I hope to be as good as him, if not better, one day. |
