| Introduction | What is my political ideology? I do not consider myself a person with strong political opinions. Politics was not an important topic in our household when I was growing up. I have not been involved in any political campaigns, nonetheless, I am a registered voter, and participate in local and national elections. I consider myself a democrat; however, according to the political ideology quiz I took online, I am, much to my surprise, a Solid Liberal. I also took the civics quiz, and scored a 63.64%. This year I also decided to go back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, which is the reason why I am taking this government class. I am looking forward to learning more about political issues. My expectation of this class is to improve my knowledge of our American Democracy. |
