Introduction The Kabir Festival, has traveled in various avatars across the world. Following the success and the overwhelming response of the previous festivals, we are pleased to announce 'Dhai Akhar Prem Ke,' the first Kabir festival in Mumbai from 14th to 23rd January 2011. We believe that Kabir speaks to all, breaking the barriers of cast, class, gender, age and nationality. With this festival, we attempt to create a space for one to go within and to connect, grow, inspire, empower and transform together. We aim particularly to reach out to the youth and diverse audience and explore ideas of identity, pluralism, religion, tolerance and fundamentalism. The festival will consist of : • Film Screenings; • Art Exhibitions; • Workshops; • Talks by Shabnam Virmani,Purushottamji Agarwal and Rajni Bakshi; and • Live music performances by Prahladji Tipanya, Mukhtiar Ali, Moorala Marwada , Pushkar Lele , Dhruv Sangari and Neela Bhagwat.
