| Introduction | I grew up in New England during the 1980's and absolutely loved the music of that time. There was so much variety in what you heard on the radio and there were a lot of new things happening in music. I was up late one night, tooling around & looking at old music on youtube. It struck me about how much better music was overall during that decade. I wondered to myself if I could come up with 365 great songs from the 80's--of course! Too easy, right? Then I thought...how about 365 great songs,each one by a different artist - no repeats? Now I had myself a challenge! I began posting one song a day on Facebook with the intent of posting one song a day for the whole year 2012. Nineteen days into the project my friends implored and encouraged me to start a blog of this, and 80's Quest the blog was born! |
