Introduction	For those of you who don't know us, we're a recently engaged couple from northern Ontario. We've just returned from a trip to Thailand and Cambodia - a very lazy trip at that. And now we're on a mission to Mount Katahdin...on foot! The Appalachian Trail has been a goal of ours for over a year now. So we've abandoned our lives in North Bay - quit our jobs, moved back in with our parents (sadly enough) and are all geared up for the hike. We're avid outdoors people, spending as many of our days off hiking, canoeing, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing and so on. Still we know the AT is going to be a challenge - and that's exactly what we want!
