Introduction	I am 39 years old and just had my tonsillectomy on Monday April 1st. I had tonsilitis a lot when I was growing up, and was left with adult cryptic tonsils that collected gunk. YUK! I feel like there is quite a bit of information out there for adults getting a tonsillectomy, and that's a good thing. Everyone recovers differently which is why I thought it might be useful to document my experiece. If I can help just one person, I'd be happy. But I would also be happy to have this site used as a way for reaching out to each other. Maybe you can find someone that is getting their procedure done around the same time. Best of luck to all of you, and remember 2 weeks is only a glimpse in your life. Hopefully you can now live a life without strep, tonsilitis, tonsil stones, or whatever it is that brought you to my site!
