Introduction	Subsurgence members Devan Smith and Shane Marsh are Knoxville natives bringing heavy bass music your way. The duo began mixing and producing in May 2011. In less than the course of a year, the guys have accomplished a lot and are working hard to bring new sounds and ideas into the mix. Subsurgence has played massive local house parties, Southbound and 90Proof Nightclub, Longbranch Saloon, Char Bar and Grill, and The Cider House. They played a bass music festival called Home Grown and recently were runners up in a 4-way Silent Disco DJ battle. They have shared the stage with region locals Wick-It The Instigator, Coach, DJ Oreo, DJ Ghibli, Kurse Smith, iRell, and PaerBaer. They are currently working on a self released EP due out next spring.
