| Introduction | Wow,where do I begin? Well I started out as Chef Girl RD, which is a play on Chef Boyardee. The name was just a thought in my head several years ago about what I wanted to do with my life. The girl part was a given. The chef part is still in the works. And the RD, yay! I can proudly say that I obtained that credential 2 years ago in June (registered dietitian). Years after I thought of the ChefGirlRD name, this wonderful family unexpectedly came into my life. So I changed it to ChefMomRD. Now the chef part, like I said, is still in the works. I mean I AM the chef of my home, and I have owned my own catering establishment in the past, but I am still bound and determined to make it to culinary school. The plan is to seguay out of the hospital rooms in care of patients nutritional needs, and into a career of healthy cooking, servicing their needs while they can enjoy it most. I have a loving husband of 5 years, a beautiful, joyful little princess, a gem on the way, and a hunk of a dog named Tyson - a pit bull yes, but he won't bite your ear off. So that's "about me", and I'm glad you cared enough to want to know. |
