| Introduction | I grew up feeling a deep, almost unexplainable connection with the Narmada River. To me, she was never just flowing water—I experienced her as a mother. After every heartfelt conversation with her, I would walk away feeling both empty and full at the same time. And with every goodbye, I would make a silent promise: I will come back. Perhaps it was this intention that eventually became an invitation—for a five-month walking pilgrimage along her banks. We walked through mountains, forests, rivers, the sea, hundreds of villages, highways, and muddy roads. Each day arrived with its own gifts, insights, and quiet wisdom. We found ourselves held in the lap of nature—in grace, goodness, generosity, and a deep sense of gratefulness. My co-pilgrim often said, “Everyone should walk around the Narmada at least once. Everyone deserves to experience this kind of love.” And I understand what she meant—because we felt it, every single day. Words may never fully capture the essence of this five-month journey with nature, but this is my humble attempt to share a few glimpses of it with you. |
| Interests | I find myself in simple things— in waking to the sound of birds, watching the colours of the sky at dawn and dusk, walking barefoot on Mother Earth. In reading words that linger, in listening to life stories that make my heart tender. In writing what moves within, in dancing freely, unseen, in singing the tunes of nature. In freezing moments of inspiration through a lens. And somewhere in between all of this— I return to myself. 🙂 --- If you want, I can merge this with your Narmada reflection into one seamless, deeply moving piece—it would feel like a full circle. |
