| Introduction | I'm an artist and maker of things. I have a husband, two grown-up sons and a little granddaughter. I live in a chilly Victorian villa in a sort of urban forest in Withington, Manchester, surrounded by trees, squirrels, birds and students. I love reading, being creative, my friends and family, my garden, my house, open fires, walking on beaches, Christmas Day, driving in the countryside and cake. I work part-time in a seventeenth-century rare books library where we mostly swear a lot and eat biscuits. |
