Introduction	I am a writer-researcher, educator and translator based in London. Some of my earlier verse can be found in Salt and Honey (GMP, 1989). In recent years I have been working on a collaborative project to translate into English a selection of poetry by the acclaimed Spanish writer Francisco Brines (b. 1932).
