| Introduction | Graduating from Siena Heights College, MI., with a BFA, I moved to Kansas City, MO., to work for Hallmark Cards. After 3 1/2 years I embarked on a career as a freelance fantasy artist. My illustrations and book covers are published in the U.S. and Europe, including the cover for Andre Norton’s Wizard’s Worlds. Starting in 1995 I worked full-time in the Natural History exhibit industry, for over a decade. For a while I enjoyed working at the independent bookstore Pages For All Ages, painting a mural for their children’s department, setting up seasonal displays, and coordinating their art exhibits. I am now exploring digital illustration and Graphic Design. I have become proficient in Photoshop, and continue to expand my skills in Illustrator and InDesign.
