| Introduction | I'm a professor, originally from Coventry, England. My parents and I moved to Washington DC when I was about seven. We moved to the US because my father worked for the British embassy/government until he passed. To tell the truth I've been in the US longer than I've been in England. My family calls me an Americanized Brit. I'm not sure that's so bad though. I love to travel and have visited most of Europe and some of Asia. I was a field archaeologist, but having burned a bridge or two, I moved onto being a professor. I'm the lowest rung on the professorial ladder, so I'm a slave to the administration's curricular whims. |
