Introduction Well first and foremost, I am a mom. That is a job title that once you have it, you have it...no matter if you suck at it or not. Second, I'm an atheist...and while I'm not shoving my atheism down peoples throats, I am not at all afraid to tell people I am. In fact I'm quite annoyed with fellow atheists who don't feel the same! WHY should WE hide?! We're not the ones who are deluded FFS!! I love my family first and foremost, and most animals. I like most people but there are an awful lot I don't. I hate violence (except in movies...sorry..my blog I'm allowed to be contradictory!) and unfairness of any kind with a vehemence that is detrimental to my own health and mental wellbeing! But mostly I think if you don't have a sense of humour, you're not really living life!
Interests Hmmmm, life - I'm kinda attached to that, stained glass, quilting - I am SO new but I have finished at least one so apparently can call myself a quilter, dogs - and cleaning up after them CONSTANTLY, cats - ditto, Sociology and the human experience, Big Bang Theory!, camping - in a trailer, with a shower and stove, oven and microwave, stereo, t.v. and duvets. Yep...that's the ONLY way to camp!
Favorite Movies Anything hobbit based; pretty much anything action based, which is ironic when you look at my second blog entry which is anti-gun...it's MY BLOG I'm allowed to be contradictory...don't like it? Not my problem. Some docudramas...but then I get emotionally all fucked up. Hotel Rawanda made me sob for three damn hours...that'll be another rant some day I'm sure.
Favorite Music Country - new and not all of it - yep...even the crap with "GOD" in it, Heavy Metal, and classical orchestral - but NOT OPERA! Combining Orchestral and Operatic is kind of like combining Country and Heavy Metal! WHY!?
Favorite Books Game of Thrones; Jack Whyte's series starting with Singing Sword...awesome! First three books by Diana Gabaldon...after that they just get repetitive.

What is this?
