| Introduction | We (Kyle and Maya McLane) have been married for 17 years and have 5 children. We are grateful to have served in Ukraine for 5 1/2 years. During our time there Kyle was working with volunteer teams and Ukrainian nationals. Kyle comes from an enginnering background, and Maya studied psychology. Now, after being led to Africa, Kyle was working with a Non-Profit Organization in South Africa and Maya was taking on the task of homeschooling her children and working in ministry. As we have felt led to move back to Ukraine, we will now be working in Church planting. |
| Interests | As we move from Africa back to Ukraine, we can tell you that there will be lots to miss about South Africa....the people, the accent, the safaris and the weather! In Ukriane we couldn't have enough muffin mixes, cake mixes, pop-tarts, teddy grahams, caffeine free cokes, cheese-crackers, dinner meal kits, grits and bacon bits. Constant, dependable electricity would also be a nice thing, no matter which side of the continent we have lived on! Nonetheless, what we don't have we really don't miss...unless you mention a Chick-fil-A sandwhich! Now, if you ask us what do we miss, we will tell you, saying "now now!" for right now and pap and sauce with impala! (SA norms!) |
