| Introduction | Jason Jansky was born in Fort Collins CO and raised where he currently lives in Klamath Falls OR. He has been pursuing animation for fun since he was thirteen and films have always been a passion of his. He was home schooled all the way through high school and is currently enrolled at AnimationMentor.com. He loves to play on the drums, draw, sculpt, photograph, write, and film expressive material that communicates to individuals in meaningful ways. Animation Mentor is his first step in pursuing art as a career. He took the Summer of 2009 off from Animation Mentor to take classes at Klamath Community College, namely Art History and Sculpture. This proved to be a beneficial “rounding out” of Jason’s art experience, and a good refresher before continuing at AM in the Fall of 2009. Outside of AM, he takes time to work freelance web design, weight lift, bicycle, cook, watch movies, play an occasional video game, and hang out with some great friends |
| Interests | The world is fascinating, and I find that I am interested in anything in as much as it pertains to making the world a better, sustainable, and stable place. Art and science, as far as I can tell, are two of the primary means of discovery, and both interest me greatly. Overall, I do tend to the side of intuition, feeling that the answers are readily accessible if we merely look for them. The real adventure lies in discovering what the answers mean and the possibilities they present. Because of my vast interest in the world, I can engage in almost any bit of information for at least a little while. This is partly why I'm pursuing animation; it draws on virtually all aspects of life. When animating, whether consciously or unconsciously, all a person's experiences are been utilized and implemented in the creation of the performance. That is why animation is my primary interest. |
