| Introduction | Marcie has lived and painted extensively throughout the United States. She has called Baker City home for the past ten years and has acquainted herself with the local landscape through painting en plein aire (on site), sketching and photograpy. She bases her compositions upon those photographs, field studies and color notes to compose her paintings at her home studio. "My goal is to invite the viewer to stop for a moment and experience a particular moment in time." Marcia has shown and received awards through numerous juried shows across the country and has work on display in private collections throughout the United States, England, Hawaii and Australia.
