About me

Introduction	My name's Jenn and I'm glad you stopped by. Seven years ago, I married the man of my dreams and we had fun "just us" for four years! Lots of adventure! We decided to start a family and I became pregnant with twins!!! As we welcomed our little ones home from the hospital and into our family, a deep longing grew inside of me. The desire to "create the heart of my home." It felt like my calling. I recognized as the kids began to eat real food and join us at the table, that meal time was a rich time full of priceless moments and learning opportunities. This could only mean one thing...I need to cook! A skill I'd need to learn. I spent lots of time teaching myself the basics and beyond. Experimenting with recipes, reading cookbooks and food blogs. All to discover my hidden LOVE for cooking and more than that, my LOVE to create in the kitchen. I welcome you to gather around our table as we share recipes, food, family stories, faith moments, and fun!
