| Favorite Books | While this list is too long (see my post on the favorite book meme ...) to post here, I will say that "The Shack" and "He Loves Me" have profoundly impacted me. MaryKate Morse's new book on leadership is as must read. And Diane Moore's book on Parenting the Heart of your Child is also, if you have children (or are planning to have them). I'm resonating with Eugene Peterson lately ... reading his "The Jesus Way", which follows "Eat This Book" and are working deeply in my soul. Other than that, it's Tolkien, Lewis, L'Engle, Smedes, McKnight, Peck, Cole, Hirsch, Fosdick, Phillips and Yancey who join Peterson. |
