| Introduction | Welcome to MillieMooshu. This is my craft journal capturing the interesting and wonderful projects that I have produced. You will find a vast array of ideas from sewing a cushion, to baking cupcakes, making homemade jam to creating lace corsages. I believe making something homemade is brilliant in more ways than one. It aids your creativity, allows you to design something personal and unique and it is also a great way to recycle. Most of the items I use in my projects have been found in my home. I always look in my boxes of fabrics, jars of buttons and beads and other treasures before I buy anything. Crafting doesn’t have to be costly, it’s more about being clever with the items you already have and also saving unwanted items for the future. Buttons from old unwanted clothes can easily be salvaged and stored in a jar. Sheets and clothing can be re-used for patchwork, cushions and other recycled textiles. Keep used jam jars so you can then go foraging for berries in the late summer to make delicious jams for gifts. The options are endless.
