| Introduction | I’m a weirdo, an oddball, a nonconformist…a misfit. Why am I such a misfit? I am bananas for Jesus; I have a weird sense of humor; I am a Bible-Junkie; I am crazy and perky; I’m a rock and roller; I’m a big-band lover; I am an over-protective mom of 2; I hate politics; I am watchful for the Lord’s return for His bride, the Church; I love spending time with my kids; I don’t push my kids to over-achieve or play sports; I don’t wear long skirts; I don’t bake my own bread (yet), or garden; I love celebrating Christmas; I hate camping; my husband is wonderful to me; I believe in training the heart of my kids; I’m truthful and outspoken which usually finds me misunderstood; I find it incredibly difficult to be fake and I don’t care for others who are; and…I'm the administrator and instructor of an exclusive multi-grade level academy designed for the express purpose of enhancing genius and maximizing potential in a select group of creative children who are being discipled to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. |
