Introduction	I love growing fruit and veg, and I love computers so what better way of merging both my pastimes than to blog about it. In Jan 2011 I got an allotment after just 3 years on the waiting lists. It was like like having all my birthdays and Christmases come at once. So I started with lots of help from Terry, my husband, who loves to dig and riddle, and I've completed a full year with lots of success and a few failures. I've made new friends among the other helpful allotmenteers and I love spending time down on the plot, especially when the weather is warm and sunny. The lovely garden photo on my background belongs to my friends Bill and Sally Kelly in Cebu, Philippines. How I wish I had their weather and could grow avocados and bananas on my allotment.
