She is a fourth generation artist that began with her great grandmother who still enjoys an active life at the age of 102! Her jewelry is organic-inspired with all natural ingredients found from mother earth, nothing plastic or artificial. Karen is inspired by her love of nature & the spirit of the Northwest where she resides. She stands behind her work and is happy to make any necessary repairs or adjustments if needed. Karen's newer work includes using japanese roshuko to give various patinas on Shibuichi (a copper & silver alloy), and using found objects from nature such as driftwood, pebbles, and beachglass. |
