| Introduction | Well, let me see.......I am new at this, so no guarantees. I have a wonderful family in the Northwoods of MN. I/we love it here, and I sometimes wonder which is my favorite spot: here or my native Colorado. It's a toss up!! Both have advantages and disadvantages. MY FAVORITE PERSON,AND BEST FRIEND FOR OVER 26 YEARS IS,OF COURSE, DELBERT (BEARD). THAT SHOULDN'T SHOCK ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME. ;) My FAVORITE THING to do is be with my/our super families and friends. They are such a great source of inspiration and happiness. Only the LORD JESUS CHRIST is more of a Help and Giver of joy than they are! My FAVORITE ANIMAL, because it's the cutest (IMHO), is the KOALA (technically not a bear, they say). Among my FAVORITE FOODS are okra (fried and pickled), Lori's brownies, shrimp, Lillian's gumbo, and...hmmm--the list continues. And my favorite beverage is MOUNTAIN DEW!!! As brought out in my first post, I was adopted. Had a wonderful family growing up; but recently found blood relatives. This is one of the high points in my life, and I am so overjoyed and overwhelmed!!! |
| Interests | I like to sew, crochet, attempt crosswords, write emails/letters and talk on the phone. LOL I am also in the slow process (for me) of learning the bagpipe chanter, so I can move on to playing the bagpipes. That will be SO COOL, if I ever accomplish it!!!! (now taking donations for that first set of bagpipes-LOL) I seem to be the Queen of not finishing things I start, like with my crocheting, sewing, etc. Oh, and I dream of quilting someday, even somewhat simple quilts, with larger pieces. Lately I have begun to think that it would be neat to learn how to ride a horse. Maybe if I was around them more (or some--lol) I would overcome my fear. Perhaps someday......... |
| Favorite music | I like music. My favorites are: most Christian genres, and instrumental of almost all types-- but BAGPIPES (Great Highland) are the BEST!!!! |
