About me

Introduction Living in the west has greatly influenced my artistic style and subject matter. When I first set out after college, my husband and I went to Guam seeking adventure and sun. We had both, but not many cowboys. Upon our return we ventured to the small town of Rapelje, Montana. Here I was given my first true taste of cowboy life. We lived on a cattle ranch, 15 miles from the nearest paved road. During the day I taught at a small K-12 school, and at night and weekends I learned to rope, brand, work cattle, and even pull calves when needed. Today I call Mountain Home, Idaho home. Horses are still a part of my daily life as is the western way of life. I spend much time painting and traveling throughout the west as I pursue artistic adventures.
