Introduction	A Texan, living in my own personal Elba in the Pacific Northwest (a stranger in a strange land indeed), I graduated from the Corps at Texas A&M University and have done graduate work and taught in academia and the military. I started in the US Marine Corps and retired from the US Navy, having done the same essential work in both, including extensive field experience assigned or ‘seconded’ to foreign military units in many countries, thus given the proper beverage and a running start, I am again conversant in several languages. I am currently working on my second pension as a counselor in youth corrections, and occasionally teach History of Christianity & Development of Theology. The name, if not already discerned, is a nom de plume.
