| Introduction | Wow! So much has changed lately! I can honestly say that before these last couple of months, I had never really thought that our family would adopt... I mean there are 5 kids already! But then we went to that fateful Mark Schultz concert, and everything changed. He talked about how he had been adopted, and how that had changed his life. Suddenly, adoption wasn't such a foreign idea, and I knew that our family should consider this. I told mom what I thought, and she just kinda shrugged it off. I thought that was the end of it... but no.. apparently I don't give Allison enough credit! She went and made a PowerPoint presentation about the needs of orphans. Anyways, long story short... here we are!! We are officially in the process of adopting from Ethiopia and I could not be more excited!! I love being a big sister, and I keep thinking about what it will be like when I finally get to see my little brothers and/or sisters' faces. This is going to be such a long wait, but I know that it will be worth it... there's not a doubt in my mind! I already love these kids so much, and can't wait to give them a hug. I can't wait to bring them home!! |
