| Introduction | Heidy Quah believes in being a voice for the voiceless. At the young age of 18, she founded a Refuge For The Refugees, a non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness regarding the status of refugees in Malaysia as well as provide education for refugee children. While she first started out as just a regular volunteer teacher at a refugee school, today, she oversees the running of 9 centers across Kuala Lumpur and Penang and is an active advocate for refugees. Fun-loving, cheery and often very smiley - Heidy loves working with young people and believes in helping them reach their fullest potential.
