IntroductionThe Cambridgeshire Circuit Rider Project started in 2004 when Cambridge Independent Advice Centre put in a bid to run a project in Cambridgeshire. Funded by ChangeUp, the project was able to help 15 organisations in the region by providing support, expertise and equipment. Several sub projects were also identified and so, CIAC became AFL (Advice For Life) and created a Social Enterprise Division,(i-TRUST,responsible for the Circuit Rider Project along with ICT Training, The Shuttle (Mobile ICT Suite), Procurement and Web Design . Our prime aims are being a trusted source of advice and support to VCO's and to make ICT an easy to use tool for organisations and ensuring it is not burden in terms of effort, time or finance. By offering ICT Heath Check Audits, Support Agreements, and helping develop Strategic ICT policy, Cambridgeshire Circuit Rider Project can offer the VCS the services it needs from with in the sector.
