| Introduction | Life moves on. We remain an expat family, the boys in Switzerland with their Mum and me in Ecuador in what is now the only home I know, Vilcabamba, sweetest little pueblo (and the most cosmopolitan) you ever did see. I have an adult son now, heading to uni later this year, and my youngest is 16, quite the change-up not to be full-time with them, we are managing. Sometimes it is the best for all to live your own life and accept that the good things will follow. In Vilcabamba, I opened a Sushi restaurant 4 months ago, my first restaurant ever...call me crazy that's what I did. I am working on the last semester of my Doctorate of Manual Osteopathy which is a challenge, and my health is back to 90% which is a far cry better than the 30% it was 2 years ago. Life remains rich and varied and I wouldn't have it any other way! |
