About me

Location Cheadle, Cheshire, United Kingdom
Introduction I am probably living proof that Rudyard Kipling was only partially correct - East and West do meet - with sometimes unpredictable and often unexpected consequences. Born and raised in the East (Philippines), and fortunate to be trained in one of the finest business schools in the world (the Asian Institute of Management) I am one among the earlier breed of so called "global managers" - working seamlessly across borders, cultures and ethnic backgrounds, integrating and assimilating, whilst at the same time trying to maintain a sense of identity and belonging. It has not always been easy being "Bri-Noy" - or British-Filipino - but I have tried to make the most of an otherwise unusual and unique situation. If anything, having lived and worked in over a dozen countries in almost all continents during the course of some one and a half decades has given me fresh insights and perspectives into issues that not many can see outside their own specific viewpoints. It is my hope that I can put this to good use in sharing my ideas with a wider audience, and inviting dialogue and discussion on subjects that are often controversial, but almost always relevant to our life and times.
