| Introduction | Hi! I'm Larry Cave, originally from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, now calling south Mississippi home. My first love (well, other than my wife) is the music of the Beatles-era 60's (64-70). I hosted a Saturday night oldies show from 1993-98 on the late, great WLCC- FM in Luray, VA. Back in November 2013 on my Facebook page, I started posting songs from the period immediately after the JFK assassination. The two month + time frame of American popular music from then until the Beatles lit it up on Ed Sullivan still fascinates me. I just kept on going with a 50-years-ago look back at Top 40 music on Facebook, and figured I'd try it in the blogosphere. Hope you enjoy it! |
