Introduction	回头日记是一个充满滞后性的日记项目。我是一个记忆力很差的人，根据保存在相机里的照片，我试图对一个月前所发生的事情进行叙述。在媒体社会，一个月虽不算长，但爆炸多的信息也足够将人的大脑吞噬。回头日记的英文名 RetroDiary 取自单词 Retrospect, 表达了一种回溯的行为与愿想；而 Retro 本身被解释为后现代不断回环的复古风潮，也点明了人类碎片式的记忆与当代社会错综复杂的时间性间的关系。回头日记 is a laggy diarial project. I have a very bad memory, so I aim to retell my daily story based on the photos that were taken one month ago. In today’s media society, one month is long enough to twist people’s mind and problematize the authenticity of their memories. Just like its English title RetroDiary, 回头日记 could be regarded as a willing of retrospection. At the same time, the word Retro itself is semantically defined as the spiral looping of chic fashion in the postmodern society, which also reveals the ambiguous relationship between the debris inside human’s brain and the intertwined temporality within contemporary culture.
