Introduction	I have climbed through tornado wreckage, been serenaded by a U.S. senator, interviewed key figures in the Civil Rights movement, sat on press row at the NCAA basketball championship, and chronicled the day-to-day life of public schools. I got my start in high school journalism classes and returned to that world in 2010 to teach journalism classes at Lawrence High School in Kansas. I use this blog to share materials I use when I work with students. The student works posted here were created by high school students I advised at the Flint Hills Publications Workshop.
